The Extra Extra Publishing House Scaled Content Ratings
The EEPH-SCoR is affectionately known as the “F-Score.”
The F-Score is a rating system developed to accommodate the discrepancies found between target demographic and content maturity.
This scale is designed with the autonomous reader in mind.
With the F-Score readers can better distinguish if a young adult novel includes content such as open door romance, graphic violence, or severe language.
Likewise, the F-Score helps indicate if an adult novel exclusively contains adult themes, plot, and language, or if it can be safely read by a younger audience as well.

GREEN means safe for all readers. It is the equivalent of a G rating in movies and television. Overall these books are wholesome with no language beyond “damn” or “darn.” While characters may be wrestling with heavy themes and difficult life lessons, the story deals with both using modesty, gentleness, and kindness.
