What are we?
Extra Extra Publishing House was conceptualized when founder Madeleine Elizabeth was querying her first manuscript in 2022-2023.
She found too many stories about tight, inconsistent deadlines across genres, contentions over cover design, and editors with inevitable burnout.
All to produce the quickest, most consumable product for the publisher.
That wasn’t going to work.
Madeleine wanted a place where publisher and author were in constant conversation over the production of their product.
She wanted a place where author’s started earning royalties sooner rather than later.
She wanted a place where ownership was always available to the author.
She wanted EXTRA.
How it works:
Submit a manuscript.
Have a conversation.
Publish!
Okay… it’s not quite that simple.
After agreeing on a contract, Extra Extra Publishing House will work with you to produce the most satisfying book package we can.
Once your book is published, you’ll start receiving royalties every quarter.
And at the end of your contract, you can move on!
Extra Extra will never own your edited manuscript and we will never expect you to write another book for us, or be stuck with first refusal clauses.
